“Original paint” with rebuilt title and located in the awesome land of Florida. Flood car? I’d be leery.

Yeah, you’d be going out on a limb with this one.

I like the car, but flags don’t get much redder than that.

I honestly have no idea how to value something like this. You’d have to have the mother of all PPIs and you still might get fucked. Nice looking car, however.

Me either. It’s rare for sure, but you’re also taking a massive risk. It’s also possible that it’s perfect, would I spend money to find out, absolutely not. I mean if it was a grand then I might, but not at 9k.

And high miles - I don’t know what that car costs non-salvage, but I’d spend 10 grand more for a perfect example.

That’s a hell no price considering good ones push 20k

True, there was even that one from a couple weeks ago that was like 13k.

I’m always curious what people’s reasoning is for avoiding salvage/rebuilt title cars. Yeah, get them checked out obviously, but if everything was fixed.... Easy way to save thousands.
I’ve yet to have an insurance company say anything about a salvage title car, but maybe that differs for other people..?

NADA puts average trade value at $8350, no way I’d go above that for something with an R-title. Looks nice, sure but yikes...

I think it’s because you have to trust them to correctly repair the car and that might not have happened. If you’ve got pictures from when the car was totaled, and have proof it was fixed correctly, then I might be interested.
